Also, burrs emit less heat than blades, and heat can negatively affect the taste of coffee. Elegant and nicely weighted, this 85-watt, retro-look grinder with rubber feet sits securely on the counter and grinds beans without the slightest hassle. To use, simply put the beans in the top container, twist it to set it at one of eight settings from extra fine to coarse, then turn the timer dial. If you need enough ground coffee for a twelve-cup pot of coffee, that’s exactly how much will be ground. A chart on the lower grind-collecting container specifies how long to set the timer for the amount required.
